Leagues for Beginners? Laurel 8/24/2005 5:42:59 AM

Does such a thing exist, and can anyone point me in a direction? I've found plenty of associations and leagues, but all for established golfers. How does a beginner, who's friends don't golf and aren't interested in trying it, go about finding other duffers who just want to play but aren't of a level to just sign up at a course and get matched with someone who's day is going to be ruined for having to be matched with a silly novice? Thanks
