| CHICAGO, IL - The Chicago Park District and KemperGolf Management this week completed the construction and set-up of three new reasons to work on your golf game at the Diversey Driving Range in Lincoln Park - three beautiful new target greens with multiple flags and sand traps to improve the golf experience at Diversey. The target greens feature a state-of-the-art, sand-filled turf system that replicates natural grass in look, feel, roll and “holding” of shot, further enhancing the shot-making and visual experience for players of every level.
“The Diversey Driving Range is in its fourth decade of operation, and we are constantly looking at ways to improve the playing experience for the thousands of golfers, young and old, who visit our Lincoln Park landmark each year,” said Stella Nanos, KemperGolf's General Manager for the Chicago Park District public golf facilities. "In the past few years, we've added heated (for winter golf) hitting bays, a second tier to our driving stations and a state of the art miniature golf course."
Since 1993, KemperGolf Management has served as manager of all Chicago Park District golf facilities, which include five nine-hole courses, one 18-hole course (Jackson Park), three driving ranges, a junior learning center at Douglas Park, and the Diversey Miniature Golf Course. The Diversey Driving Range is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week. For more information visit www.cpdgolf.com.
