| KemperGolf Management, manager of the Chicago Park District golf facilities, today announced that the "Kids Play Free" program will be extended to Columbus Park and Marquette Park Golf Courses for the remainder of the 2007 golf season. The trio of Chicago Park District golf courses joins a lineup including South Shore Golf Course, which also participated in the popular "Kids Play Free" program last season. As part of the initiative, up to three junior golfers can golf at no cost when accompanied by a green-fee paying adult.
"The Chicago Park District and KemperGolf Management are committed to providing opportunities for area youth, and we feel this is a great vehicle to connect with them," said KemperSports' Steve Dell, general manager of the Chicago Park District golf facilities. "This program fosters shared recreational time among parents, mentors and children within a family-oriented atmosphere. It's a win-win for kids and adults alike."
