| (CHICAGO, Illinois) – Billy Casper Golf (“BCG”) today announces the expansion of its P.L.A.Y. initiative to promote junior golf in the Chicago area with its ‘Kids Play Free’ program. This new program gives children ages 17 and under the opportunity to play any of the 10 Forest Preserve Golf courses in Cook County for free when accompanied by a paying adult Monday-Friday after 6 p.m., and Sunday after 3 p.m.
This limited time offer extends until August 31 and applies to greens fees as well as practice buckets at Forest Preserve Golf’s four practice ranges.
‘Kids Play Free’ is the latest effort of Billy Casper Golf’s P.L.A.Y. initiative – which stands for “Public Links for Area Youth.”
“Billy Casper Golf and the Forest Preserve Golf courses are committed to bringing young players into the sport,” says Bill Rehanek, Regional Vice President of BCG. “Through the P.L.A.Y. initiative we’re striving to find ways to give more children the opportunity to make this wonderful pastime an important part of their lives.”
The Chicago-area golf facilities managed by BCG are: Billy Caldwell Golf Course, Burnham Woods Golf Course, Chick Evans Golf Course, Edgebrook Golf Course, George W. Dunne National Golf Course, Harry Semrow Driving Range, Highland Woods Golf Course, Indian Boundary Golf Course, Joe Louis “The Champ” Golf Course, Joe Louis “The Champ” Driving Range, Meadowlark Golf Course and River Oaks Golf Course.
